A stamp in its own right: Elsterstraße 48 is a building with an important history, as it is the cradle of one of the largest stamp companies in the world. Richard Senf (1856-1941) traded stamps here as a 16-year-old and later published one of the highest-circulation stamp catalogs in Germany. Today, the extensively renovated apartment building impresses with its diverse floor plans, tasteful furnishings and modern amenities such as underfloor heating and an elevator.
